I made this picture for an art contest a little while back. The character is Songjewel's Rhysta At first it had just a circle for a background… but I worked it over again to make the style fit better. Like shox2's picture I put a ripped map kind of border...for no reason other than I like making them :).

Digital? From a small thumbnail, it looks like a tight watercolor. I don't think it's what you're going for, but it makes me think of Akira Toriyama's old Dr Slump and Dragonball Spot Illustrations. That's definitely a good thing, because those illustrations are some of my all-time favorites.

The title makes me think that you didn't draw the image, that you only colored it. Is it all your work?

This piece in particular makes me think you'd like my besterest buddy's work, . You should check his stuff out, I think.
